My wife, Evie, and I are so grateful to the people of Dahlonega for voting us the “Best Artist” and “Best Musical Artist” of the year!

It has been two months since the official release of Modern Nostalgia, and I just want to say, thank you.

We’ve hit our target number of pre-orders and the Modern Nostalgia vinyl is now officially “in-the-oven!”

‘Quarantine Blues' is the fifth track on Modern Nostalgia, and it is the very first song that I gave to the Hughes Blues Crew in 2020. As you may have guessed, I wrote ‘Quarantine Blues’ during quarantine last year, and it is definitely one of the heavier tracks on the album.

Recorded at the legendary Capricorn Sound Studios in Macon, GA, the music on the new record is a sweet mix of blues, blues-rock, and southern rock; a modern successor to the great music that put Capricorn on the map many years ago.
